Data Protection |
Watlington Medical Centre staff adhere to the guidelines set out in the Data Protection Act 1998. This Act protects individuals from the misuse of personal information. Test Results |
Please allow 1 week for most test results to come back. The person requesting the test should tell you how to get the result; for example whether just to ring or to see the doctor. Please phone for results after 3.30pm as the hospital post does not arrive until the afternoon. Routine cervical smear results take approximately 8 weeks and are now sent directly to your home address by the laboratory. We will of course make every effort to inform you should a test result need urgent action, however it remains your responsibility to find out your result from us.

Watlington Medical Centre Patients Group |
We have an active Patients Group of volunteers that is affiliated to the National Association for Patient Participation. This is a registered charity. The aim of the group is to provide a forum for discussion around services offered at the Medical Centre, and to help promote patient awareness of health related topics. The group also have fund raising activities during the year to help provide medical equipment and amenities for the Medical Centre not provided by the NHS. Please contact Mrs Ash at the Medical Centre for further information about the group - we are always looking for new members and welcome new ideas. |
